Cognitive /Intellectual Disability Evaluations

Intellectual measures assess an individual’s aptitude, or cognitive strengths and weaknesses on a range of domains including verbal skills, processing speed, memory, and reasoning skills. These evaluations can be conducted across the lifespan, from young children to older adults, and play a crucial role in identifying needed supports and services.

Results from these assessments help inform educational planning, therapeutic interventions, and accommodation recommendations to optimize success in school work, and daily living activities.

Academic Achievement/Learning Disorder Evaluations

Academic achievement evaluations assess learning disorders which help identify strengths and weaknesses in math, reading, writing, spelling, and language skills. These evaluations are provided when there are concerns about a learning disability and or there are requests for educational accommodations or modifications [e.g., Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plans].
