A neuropsychological evaluation assesses the extent of a known issue (e.g., stroke, TBI, dementia, etc.) or assists with new diagnoses such as learning and developmental disorders (e.g., sensory processing disorder, autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD, language disorders, etc.), mood disorders (bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc.), and to assist in making a differential diagnosis (to rule out some disorders and get a confirmation of others).
